*Well, here goes, this is the first time I have attempted this lot and I must admit that certains parts have been a lot easier than expected and the rest of it a lot harder. It all started off when when I was trolling through the updated spaces on my space and I came across a web site by "Unique". Talk about the wow factor isn't in it, it is STUNNING and I do mean stunning. So I showed it to the whizz of computers in the family, my eldest grandaughter Bethany, her remark was "well you could do that if you tried, besides your site is boring, there's nothing to look at". With these words of wisdom ringing in my ears I slunk off to the kithen to make a cup of tea. Then my youngest daughter arrived with her 2 children, they gaily informed me they had come to see the fairies that live at the bottom of the garden and help me make the flowers grow, and they knew it was true because their mummy had told them and at night the elves come out and sprinkle fairy dust on everything to make the flowers smell nice. Ohkaaaaay. But I needn't have worried because quick as a flash Beth came to the rescue and told Lauren and Caitlin that the fairies were asleep for the winter. They were so disappointed I felt really guity, but Miss Helpful came to the recue again, telling 2 very disappointed little girls that Grandma had taken lots of pictures in the summer of all the fairies that worked in the garden and all the different butterflies that they brought with them and she would put them all on her computer for them to see next week. My visions of having a sophisticated web site like Unique's dissolving before my very eyes, what else could I do but agree? So I have spent an entire week going backwards and forwards to Unique's website trying to figure out how things are done, visisting all the websites on her list and downloading tons of pictures of fairies and butterflies. I have to say there are some very, very clever and talented people on the web, when it takes you all night to move one butterfly with your mouse and make it stay where you want it to go, it makes you realise how little you know when these folk are putting strings of them together in a couple of hours, maybe less. Oh well, each to his own. So, this "jazzed" up website is the result, I'm hoping it will make 2 little girls very happy and maybe give pleasure to others as well. By the way, every image has been done by other people, not me, I can't draw to save my life, my talents lie in a different direction, and who knows, maybe, when the garden is finished the fairies WILL come to live in it and sprinkle Fairy Dust everywhere to make evrything grow and smell nice. I hope they do. Comments (3)
