MSN Photo Upload Tool Right, off the subject of gardening for once I have decided to join the hundreds of other people in complaining about the cock up that msn have made with this load of crap. I have never known such a screw up in all my life. I contacted customer support and got a bog standard e-mail that basically said that they did not know what was wrong with it, couldn't really care less, they'd fix it in their own time and until that time came along, PUT UP AND SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!! Now basically what's wrong is that the ActiveX is corrupted and due to a comment I saw yesterday on an MSN Web Site I think Microsoft already know this so why don't they do something about it?
Like loads of other people before I have followed the instructions to the letter over the various solutions and NOTHING works, mainly because no matter what Microsoft say, you cannot uninstall the blasted thing to reinstall it properly. Now modern technology is a wonderful thing until it goes wrong. I have tried e-mailing photos to my space, the postmaster at msn keeps bouncing them back, I've downloaded Firefox, that's how I managed to get the last two photos up, now it just keeps getting timed out even with one photo being uploaded. Now I've been on loads of websites dealing with this problem over the last week, in fact there has been a couple of nights when I haven't even been to bed trying to sort it out, and every solution I have come across seems to deal with the problem from the view that you cannot upload your photos. My problem is that I can send as many photos as I want in e-mails, that's okay, I can upload as many photos as want to my Space, that's fine, what I want to know is WHERE ARE THEY GOING???????? Cos they surely ain't arriving on here, I can tell you that much. Maybe the be-all and end-all solution would be to uninstall Internet Explorer itself and reinstall it, then try the photo upload tool again, bit drastic but it might work, has anybody tried this??, if you have would you let me know how you went on please??
And if anyone from Microsoft is reading this, here's a piece of advice for you for future use: IF IT AIN'T BROKE THEN DON'T FIX IT!!!!!!!!! Comments (1)
